EARLY 18TH CENTURY, THE MOVEMENT SIGNED 'DELISLE APARIS'
With 9 in. twelve-piece enamelled cartouche dial and square plated movement with vase shaped pillars, outside countwheel and altered escapement, the backplate signed 'Delisle AParis', the case veneered with ground shell, brass and applied with gilt-metal mounts, the cresting surmounted by a winged putto seated on a ball with a female mask and leaf mount below the dial, on a similarly-decorated integrel stand
