FIRST EDITION THUS. Wrongly attributed to Jan de Witt; and in fact by Pieter de la Court, this work comprises a translation of Aanwissing der heilsams politike Gronden en Maximen van de Republike van Holland, 1669, and a revised and enlarged edition of Interest van Holland, published in 1662 without the author's consent and with enlargements by Jan de Witt. Goldsmiths' 3864.
With 36 other volumes including Bernard Mandeville's The Fable of the Bees: or, Private Vices, Publick Benefits (London, 1724). (37)
