A SERVICE OF YELLOW GROUND GRADUATED 'DRAGON' BOWLS AND SAUCERS WITH EIGHT MATCHING SPOONS
IRON RED XING YOU HENG TANG MARK, GUANGXU (1875-1908)
Each bowl and saucer finely enamelled with an iron red and a black dragon striding among chrysanthemums, reserved on a bright yellow ground below a band of key pattern around the rim, the saucers each with three iron-red bats on the reverse, the spoons each with a similar iron-red dragon within a key-pattern border, comprising:
Four large bowls and saucers, the saucers 9½ in. (24 cm.) diam.
Four medium-sized bowls and saucers, the saucers 7 1/8 in. (18 cm.) diam.
Four small bowls and saucers, the saucers 5 1/8 in. (14.3 cm.) diam.
Four teabowls and saucers, the saucers 4 in. (10.3 cm.) diam.
Four cups and saucers, the saucers 3¼ in. (8.2 cm.) diam.
Four small cups and saucers, the saucers 2¾ in. (6.9 cm.) diam.
Eight spoons, 6 in. (15 cm.) long
