PROPERTY FROM THE ESTATE OF THE LATE JEANETTE LIPTON Jeanette Lipton was the co-founder of Chinacraft, one of the largest specialist companies selling fine British china and glass. She worked closely with the famous British manufacturers of Royal Worcester, Wedgwood, Minton, Crown Derby and Aynsley to champion their work and adapt traditional designs in a more modern way. As well as a vast array of fine china and glass services this collection is particularly notable for elaborate naturalistic and figural sculpture from the Royal Worcester factory. The work of some of the finest post war modellers is well represented including pieces by Bernard Winskill, Ruth and Ronald van Ruyckeveldt and Doris Lindner.
