Details
A rare border of bobbin lace, worked with gold, silver threads and green coloured floss silks, designed with flowerhead motifs --37½ x 4 in. (94 x 10cm.), French, circa 1670, later backed on purple ribbed silk; and another bobbin lace border worked with metal threads having thread cores, designed with a series of stylised flowerheads
