A young lady's dress of printed linen, printed with bold stripes of green and blue, and red patterned bands between, with full skirt, the lined bodice with deep V-neck, the tapering sleeves slightly gathered at the elbow and trimmed to the shoulder with three self-fabric bands, circa 1840
