Tapering rectangular and of oval section, the exterior with applied scrollwork and floral motifs, opening to reveal an incomplete set of instruments -- 3¾ins. (9.5cms.); and a silver mounted cylindrical shagreen etui, the mount formed from wirework scrolls -- 5cms. (12.5cms.) (2)
