Each seated on a rectangular base with mouth open exposing large fangs, with large bulging, black and white eyes, a mane of conical curls, a bushy tail, and collar hung with bells and a tassel spanning the chest, the female restraining a squirming cub with her right forepaw while the male rests its left forepaw atop a ribbon-tied brocade ball, all in green, amber, aubergine, white and black; raised on wood pedestals carved as if draped with a diaper-pattern cloth which fits into a base carved with a band of petal lappets above foliate scroll on the sides
