The top of the cover decorated in European coromandel style with an oval landscape scene within key-fret and flower-sprig borders, the sides formed by Chinese coromandel panels decorated with antiques and flowers and the interior of the cover, also in coromandel, with vases of flowers flanking a rectangular framed recess
