The upper cover with rectangular band set with roundels of photographs and scrolling panels, to the corners with raised squares of canted malachite cabochons, the center with a coat-of-arms surmounted by armorial helmets and with motto VIRTUTE ET LABORE, enclosing the documents printed on vellum with lithograph borders and illuminated in colors and gilt of knighthood given to Emanuel Goldberger de Bouda by order of Emperor Franz Joseph I and presented by Prime Minister Graf Eduard Taaffee, with printed explanation on paper and signed by Emanuel Goldberger de Bouda
