The center decorated with the legendary palace of the Daoist Mother of the West in the Kunlun mountains, the goddess and attendants in the clouds to one side, within a narrow foliate border below a band of lotus scroll in the deep well which is repeated on the exterior, the everted rim with cartouches of lotus, pinks, peony, prunus and magnolia reserved on a diaper ground
