Each wearing a bell-hung collar and shown seated with head turned to the side, their faces modelled with a ferocious expression with bulging eyes below curly brows and backswept ears, the female with mouth open in a warning roar as she restrains her playful cub with her right forepaw, the male with his left forepaw atop a beribboned brocade ball, all in deep turquoise with dark aubergine details
