The hinged rectangular top enclosing a fitted interior with leather-lined ratcheted slope, pen-tray and two associated glass pots, above a drawer and a simulated drawer on the reverse, on slender reeded baluster legs, brass caps and castors, originally with a material work-basket attached to the sliding frame below the drawer, stamped 'F. MAW'
