This is one of the rarest of all Montblanc pens and has tantalised collectors since the model was featured in promotional material to accompany the firm's relaunch in 1988. Here selected models from the company archive were photographed to show the aesthetic character that ensures a Montblanc is always in style. A version in pale blue with broad-spaced black lines is also known. It is thought that this is the first time either of these ultra-rare models has been offered at auction.
