Six various Worcester coffee-cans
CIRCA 1800, VARIOUS PRINTED, IMPRESSED AND INCISED MARKS
Variously printed, painted and gilt, comprising: a loop-handled coffee-can painted with sprays of pink roses interspersed with branches of gilt seaweed, within gilt lines, an example bat-printed with a collection of shells reserved on a bed of seaweed, a third painted with a broad band of green and purple cell-pattern within borders of gilt flower-heads, a fourth painted with iron-red leaves amongst leaves and pink flowers, and two examples with leaf-moulded Grecian handles, the first painted with scattered flower-sprays in puce camieau, the second painted and gilt with dark-blue hanging leaves, within gilt lines (minute chipping to footrims and very light rubbing to gilding) (6)
