An English porcelain part tea-service painted with shells
CIRCA 1820-30, PROBABLY H. & R. DANIEL, GILT PATTERN NUMBER 3/365
Painted with a collection of sea-shells on a bed of seaweed and coral, within a richly-gilt circular cartouche of diaper and cell-pattern ornament, within gilt scroll-moulded rims reserved on dark-blue ground borders, comprising:
two square cake-plates with scroll-moulded handles (some staining)
a slop-bowl
three teacups with loop handles (one with hairline cracks, some staining generally)
three coffee-cups, gilt to the exterior with trailing gilt leaves, with loop handles (some slight staining)
and six saucers (some rubbing to gilding generally)

No VAT will be charged on the hammer price, but VAT at 17.5% will be added to the buyer's premium which is invoiced on a VAT inclusive basis
