Ovoid, on three paw feet with acanthus leaf joins, the lower body engraved with stiff leaf and berry calyx, the mid-band engraved with griffins, acanthus scrolls and palmettes, with bird-head spout and wood handle, the hinged cover engraved with stiff leaf and berry calyx surmounted by a bud finial, marked on base and cover, the neck with provincial marks for 1819-1838
