Decorated overall with pierced and florally-engraved bands, the canted lid with the entwined initials 'JM' and 'LDM', and flanked by figurative panels, the sides depicting various wild birds and animals including stags and lions, on bracket feet, minor losses to the bone, previously with internal dividers
