Of oval tapering form, the spout carved as an eagle's head surmounted by a Bacchic putto, the scrolled handle carved with a merman and bacchante, the body carved in high relief with scenes depicting Mercury and Neptune in their hippocampi-drawn chariots, attended by sea-nymphs and putti, with gadrooned lower section, supported below by four putti, on a circular spreading foot carved with masks and scrolling acanthus, the underside with inventory label printed and numbered G.
