A Viennese silver-gilt, enamelled and semi-precious stone-mounted lapis lazuli ewer and tray

The ewer of triangular form with everted foliate-enamelled lip, the scrolled handle mounted with a female caryatid, the spreading and tapering body inset with lapis lazuli panels and applied with foliate bands studded with masks, on spreading foot, the trefoil shaped tray similarly decorated, with pierced foliate rim and applied with satyr masks, each stamped HB and bearing Austrian hallmarks
The ewer: 12 3/8 in. (31.5 cm.) high; The tray: 1¾ in. (4.4 cm.) high; 13½ in. (34.3 cm.) maximum width (2)
