The case with decorative mouldings to front and sides, the brass dial with seasonal spandrels to arcaded pewter chapter ring, engraved centre with alarm-setting disc, signed on a concave disc in the arch Paul/Conrard/a Liege, the thirty-hour posted frame movment with anchor escapement and countwheel strike on bell; movement second half 18th Century and associated to case, probably 19th Century
