Gun No. 1 without barrels, the fences carved with stylized ancanthus leaves, best bouquet and scroll engraving with hardening-colour, boldly figured stocks, No. 1 with ebonite extension, No. 2 with recoil pad, the Whitworth-steel chopper-lump barrels with game-ribs

16in. pull (No. 1) and 15 1/8in. pull (No. 2)

No. 2 only:-

Weight 6lb. 10½oz., 29¾in. barrels, both approx. cyl., 2½in. chambers, nitro proof (barrel thicknesses below recommended minimum)
