The Mauser action No. 61066 with two-stage receiver-ring, magazine-floorplate gold-inlaid 'Rigby .275', blued finish, the bolt with modified cocking-piece safety, well figured stock with semi-pistolgrip and butt-plate, sling-eyes, the turn-off barrel engraved 'SIGHTED FOR RIGBY'S SPECIAL HIGH VELOCITY .275 BORE CARTRIDGE, POINTED BULLET 140GRS.' with block-mounted open-sights and block-mounted bead-foresight with wing-foresight guard, the receiver mounted with a Zeiss 'Diavari-C' 3-9x36 T* telescopic-sight in quickly-detachable mounts
