A Dutch silver sweetmeat basket
Mark of Reyndert Ringnalda, Amsterdam, 1777, also struck with later Dutch duty marks of 1807 and 1906-1953 and a French duty mark of 1794-1830
Oval, on four shaped feet terminating into flowers, plain body with four flutes, the openwork everted border pierced with dots and scrolls, scrolling branch and flower rim, two applied conforming handles (repairs), marked on base and handle
