Mark of Jan Hooftman, Middelburg, 1799, also struck with later Dutch duty mark of 1810-1813 and of 1859-1859
Each on circular plain foot rising to a urn-shaped body engraved with laurel-wreaths and two circular medallions with ribbon, beaded rims, plain neck, detachable openwork high-domed cover pierced with dots and slats and acorn finial, beaded rims, marked on cover and footrim
