Lot Essay

This poster was printed after WWII and the Blitz. However, we do not see the devestation left behind after the War, instead this poster shows us the resiliance of London and its landmarks such as Westminster. Mason, who was well known for his shipping and river scenes, shows us London river life going on as before.
