The ivory field of each with meandering flroal and leafy vine issuing various palmettes and stylised floral sprays around rust-red and ice-blue double floral medallion with palmette pendants, containing floral centrepiece, indigo arabesque and floral spandrels, in broad rust-red border of bold palmettes, arabesques and floral meander between flowering vine and barber-pole stripes, outer plain stripe, minuter repair on te edge of one piece otherwise both rugs are in good condition
