BREGUET: A SIMPLE PREMIER CLASSE LEVER WATCH
SIGNED BREGUET, NO 2789, CIRCA 1832
Frosted gilt movement with jewelled train, compensation balance, spiral spring with regulator and parachute suspension, with suspended barrel with female winding square, silvered engine turned dial with Roman numeral chapter ring, aperture above for the calendar, aperture for regulation, gold half moon hands with setting aperture, the guilloche case with winding aperture and engagement lever, regulation pushers at 1 o'clock, the back carries the numbers inside 'B 2789' and case makers number 'T 4117', contained in outer gulloche decorated case with central ducal coronet above initials and the reverse with the letter 'W' below a similar coronet, with an extract archives copy of original certificate, stating the watch was sold the 10th October 1832 for FF5000 to the Earl of Pembroke, dial signed, case numbered
