A GEORGE III ORMOLU-MOUNTED MAHOGANY AND ROSEWOOD CROSS-BANDED GAMES TABLE

The hinged baize-lined top above a conforming frieze inlaid with diamond motifs, on paired ring-turned supports and scrolled, reeded and line-inlaid sabre legs with paw-capped castors, labelled to the underside of the base 'FORT WILLIAM/NO 19/1948' and with a red luggage label stamped 'W' and inscribed by hand to the reverse 'TO CHESTER', loss to one scroll on the base
