A LATE VICTORIAN GREEN-PAINTED AND UPHOLSTERED EASY ARMCHAIR

With padded open arms, with tapering turned and fluted supports, and similar tapering legs with brass castors, upholstered in tassled green silk, the dust liner stamped 'FROM COWTAN & SONS LONDON 300 OXFORD ST', the back leg stamped 'COWTAN & SONS OXFORD ST LONDON', and the castors stamped 'COWTAN & SONS OXFORD STREET LONDON', one castor missing, probably later painted
