Tibet, circa 17th Century
Of bulbous form, decorated around the sides with lotus scrollwork damascened in silver and gold within incised outlines, with lotus petal friezes around the flared foot and shoulder, the neck decorated with flowerheads and keyfret, the openwork cover very finely carved with striding dragons amid scrolling tendrils and leaf-form knop
