Tibet, 14th/15th Century
Very finely cast in Pala style seated on a raised double-lotus base, wearing a banded dhoti inlaid in silver and gold with floral patterns, beaded necklaces, armlets and bracelets and an antelope skin draped across his shoulder, his face in a meditative expression surmounted by a foliate tiara, the bronze with a rich chocolate brown patina
