APPARENTLY UNMARKED
In the Charles II style with openwork leaf and flower motif sides, supported on three scroll feet and with central leaf and scroll motifs, with twisted wire borders and a detachable flame form finial - 8 1/8in. (20.6cm.) high, 21oz.
Provenance
Formerly in the collection of H. D. Molesworth, Esq.
Acquired by the present owner in the early 1980's.

Mr. Molesworth was Keeper of Sculpture and Woodwork at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, as well as a prolific author, writing extensively, mainly on European sculpture.
