UNIQUE COPY OF THE FIRST EDITION with 18-pages of manuscript notes, c. 1825, filling the margins, continuing the account of Fletcher Christian and the remaining mutineers and Tahitians on Pitcairn Island to 1824, taken from contemporary accounts including Mathew Folger in 'Topaz' 1808, Thomas Staines in 'Briton' 1814 and others but not including the new material in John Barrow's 1831 history of the mutiny, or in Capt. Beechey's voyage in the 'Blossom' 1831. With a 5-page typed transcription. Hill p. 27.
