Original green cloth, upper cover and spine blocked in gilt, top edges gilt (light old dampstain). Provenance: Cesar Malan (author's presentation inscription, dated 1898). PRESENTATION COPY OF THE FIRST EDITION. An edition in English was published in 1899 (cf. Czech p.16).
