FIRST EDITION OF AN IMPORTANT EARLY ACCOUNT OF THE ELEPHANT, with delightful and detailed plates illustrating its anatomy, habits and use by man in sport, war, entertainment and commerce. The plate bound at folio 121 shows an elephant fighting a rhinoceros.
