Lot Essay

According to the vendor, who was friendly with The Hollies, the Rolling Stones' autographs in this Lot were acquired backstage in the Stones' dressing room at the Edmonton Regal on 5th March, 1965. The vendor had been invited backstage by The Hollies and asked to be introduced to the Stones. As the book was being signed, the vendor recalls that Brian was adjusting the strings on his guitar and when one came off and fell on the floor, she collected it as a souvenir of the occasion.
