A QINGBAI MOLDED BOWL
SOUTHERN SONG DYNASTY, 13TH CENTURY
With slightly rounded flared sides, the interior molded with a central scene of a bird perched in the branches of a blossoming plum tree surrounded by six panels, each containing different flowers issuing from a either a bottle vase or a jardinière with scroll-form feet, all below a keyfret border, and under a glaze of soft pale blue tone repeated on the exterior below the unglazed rim
