TWO FAMILLE VERTE DISHES
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
One of shell shape painted in the shallow bowl with 'antiques', the flange handle pierced for hanging; the other circular dish painted in the center with a jardinière filled with flowers and a bonsai pine tree, below foliate cartouches in the well and a band of carved foliate decoration on the everted rim, the back with a carved and green-painted Johanneum mark N=166.; together with a small kinrande saucer dish, 17th century, the interior with a central blue and white qilin medallion below cartouches of mythical beasts in famille verte, all reserved on a tomato-red ground, with a fugui changchun mark on the base
