The sides all painted in underglaze blue of rich tone with different figural scenes, some perhaps from the 'Eight Immortals of the Wine Cup' of the Tang dynasty, below lotus spray spandrels and birds in flight on the shoulder and babao on the neck, the unglazed base molded in the center with a Xuande four-character mark within a square seal
