KANGXI SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD (1662-1722)
The almost cylindrical body well carved in relief with two trees, one a magnolia, its white blossoms starkly reserved against dark blue shading, the other with copper-red multi-petalled blossoms, perhaps pomegranate, below a butterfly, both growing to either side of a pale celadon pierced rock, the narcissus sprouting from the blue grass with copper-red flowers, all below rose and peony sprays on the neck
