No. 247161, the white enamelled telescope with rack-and-pinion focusing, graduated bubble level, adjustable cross-wires, the axis mounted on twin vertical supports with vertical scale divided 50°-0° (-)/(+) 0°-50°, mounted with two screw clips on the horizontal limb with universal bubble level, tangent screw quadrant adjustment and clamp, the vernier scale reading against the outer engraved horizontal circle with 15 supplementary scales, each stamped and graduated according to read-out, the limb with adjustable register bar to record the supplementary scale, with screw tripod attachment to the underside, in fitted steel-bound pine case, the cover with brass maker's label - 12 7/8in.
