Two Small Porcelain Dishes
Okawachi, Nabeshima Ware, Edo period (early 18th century)
Each set on a high circular foot and decorated on the interior with camellias and waves in underglaze cobalt-blue, some of the flowers painted in overglaze iron-red, the background and the center of the flowers applied with a celadon glaze, the underside undecorated and the foot painted with a 'comb-tooth' pattern in underglaze blue
