A BLACK OPAL, SAPPHIRE AND DEMANTOID GARNET PENDANT, BY LOUIS COMFORT TIFFANY
The drop-shaped openwork plaque, centering upon an oval-cut black opal, within a circular and oval-cut sapphire and demantoid garnet surround, to the platinum wirework trim, with circular-cut sapphire and demantoid garnet borders, suspended by a fancy link chain of later addition, accented by circular-cut sapphire and demantoid garnet four-stone cluster links, mounted in platinum, pendant circa 1915, 16¾ ins.
