The independent swivelling clock, with a circular tortoise-shell dial, mother-of-pearl Roman numeral chapters and hands, within a polished gold bezel and amber surround, enhanced by rose-cut diamond detail, joined to the black ebonite and mother-of-pearl struts with amber and gold spiral accents, the black ebonite base further enhanced by rose-cut diamond lines, circa 1925, 6 x 6 x 2 ins., with French assay marks and maker's marks, in a Cartier London brown leather fitted case
