These ear pendants were the favorite of Liz Tilberis and she frequently borrowed them from Fred Leighton for important events. As the editor for Harper's Bazaar Magazine from 1992 until her untimely death in 1999, Tilberis was widely credited for the transformation and success of the magazine. Her battle with ovarian cancer was publicized widely and her book, No Time to Die, was an inspiration to many suffering from cancer. Proceeds from this lot will be donated to The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund for the Liz Tilberis Scholars Program.
