The stele is carved with Buddha Sakyamuni seated in vajrasana on a cushion which is placed on a shaped base with a pair of lions flanking a pair of adorants and a lengthy inscription, his right hand in bhumisparshamudra, the left resting on his lap, wearing garment, his face with serene expression, elongated earlobes, curled hairdress and usnisha, throne and head halo behind, the latter with the Buddhist Creed inscription, flanked by a pair of bodhisattvas and a pair of vidyadharas above
