Signed and inscribed in pencil (on the title page). Contained in a folding case with with pictorial paper cover and cloth ties. Accompanied by an untitled vintage gelatin silver print of an industrial scene, with credit (in the negative). 9¼ x 7in. (23.4 x 17.8cm.) (64)

Lot Essay

Krull's passion for the industrial architecture of Amsterdam and Rotterdam and, later, the Eiffel Tower in Paris, manifested itself in Métal, which established her reputation as a leading interpretor of Machine-age aesthetics. The Portfolio, complete and in this condition, is considered rare.
