With bulbous body rising to a vertical neck and slightly flaring mouth, on short spreading foot, a simple handle linking the mouth and shoulder, the body with curved fluted panels of scrolling tendrils, a band of naskh inscription reserved against a black ground above and below, the handle painted with herringbone motif, the whole covered with a turquoise glaze, breaks and losses around the mouth and handle, with some restoration
