A LARGE SAFAVID BLUE, BLACK AND WHITE SOFT PASTE PORCELAIN DISH
PROBABLY MASHHAD, NORTH EAST IRAN, FIRST HALF 17TH CENTURY
With rounded cavetto and small lightly cusped rim, the centre with a large roundel depicting a bowl with auspicious Chinese vessels and floral sprays within a scrolling cloud frame, the rim incised under the glaze with concentric cusped panels divided by floral designs, the exterior with a cloudband band around the foot, tassel mark in centre of foot, repaired clean breaks to rim
